The talks with the Governor of Istanbul had a pioneering character. His Excellency Hüseyin Avni Mutlu and Chairman Günther Meinel took part in friendly talks that were of mutual benefit.
A coexistence based on honesty and peace in the interests of our people. It is our duty to develop the traditionally good relations between Turkey and Germany. To foster economic cooperation between the two nations. We can rely on Turkey. The agreed cooperation is fulfilled.
President Ugur Terzioglu was declared an honorary member of the DMW organization and became a member of the steering committee. The Turkish press wrote about it.
Important cooperation in the areas of education, energy, communication, food and the development of shopping centers and adventure parks were agreed.
It was only with the support of the Police and Security Service that the various appointments could be kept. Cooperations were agreed with Chairman Fethi Simsek and Chairman Emin Günal that will begin in May 2011.
Istanbul has a population of 14.0 million and when compared with Hungary's 9.9 million or the entire Baltic region's (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) 7.9 million, it is an important region for cooperation.
Dear Chairman Günther Meinel,
I was extremely pleased to make your acquaintance and I would like to thank you for your letter dated January 21, 2011. The cooperation with you was a total success. It was an honor for us to be involved in the release of the two journalists Marcus Hellwig and Jens Koch so that they could return home safely. Since the Ottoman Empire, a long and friendly relationship has existed between the Turkish and German people. Like all Turks, I very much wish this relationship to go on. I hope that the cooperation between you and us will help strengthen this friendship.
With regards
Ugur Terzioglu

Invitations have already been sent to German investors. The investors will stay at the Mövenpick Hotel. This will be an opportunity for all investors to lay the foundations for economic success and enjoy traditional Turkish hospitality. Our Turkish partners look forward to meeting you.
