Günther Meinel, President of the INGO - Diplomates International Organisation, was granted the doctorate of the American Girne University for his scientific work and studies on the topics "International Understanding" and "Internationalization".
Especially his international commitment and management of dialogues for diplomatic understanding got appreciated. Receiving the doctorate by this university honored the president particularly. The strong collaboration with the American Girne University, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2014, serves the process of peacekeeping as well as the education of students from 86 states. In his acceptance speech, Günther Meinel underlined that the professors and diplomats of the university are also ambassadors of a high culture of knowledge. Modern and international teaching is the focus of the university, supported by a scientific attendance. During the ceremony, 320 students from all over the world also received their hard-won diploma in front of about 2.400 guests and guests of honor.
