We would like to spotlight in extracts a few international activities that “DMW Diplomaten International” as an international, non-governmental organization, helped shape. The aim of these activities under Dr. Günther Meinel‘s guidance is to be able to use the challenge and the chance to the economic success by means of the countries’ convergence. For that one acquires international respect.
Conferences:
European Conference in Cologne
The topic was: How will Europe develop? The event was initiated by DMW and EU membership aspirants, incl. Turkey. In this context, a TV interview with the EU commissioner Günter Verheugen took place.
Europe Meeting in Brussels
The chairman of the conference, Dr. Günther Meinel, moderated the event. Among the presidium members there were representatives from France, England, Russia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Poland. All European countries represented their national specifics.
DMW’s Economic Conference in St. Petersburg
Under Dr. Günther Meinel‘s guidance, it was agreed with the chairman of the committee responsible for Russia’s international relations upon the collaboration with Russia.
Economic Conference in Slovakia
Under Dr. Günther Meinel‘s guidance, it was agreed with the partners from Slovakia upon an important cooperation. The communiqué for a united Europe was signed by all 320 present.
Economic Conference in Bulgaria
DMW’s chairman Dr. Günther Meinel supported by the Bulgarian minister of foreign affairs, established a conference between Germany and Bulgaria. Along with the conference there followed discussions at workshops and within working groups.
TV-Conference Deutsche Welle
The organizer of the conference were: The European commission / representation of the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Parliament (information office for Germany), the federal state government of North Rhine-Westphalia and the DMW - Diplomaten für internationale Verbindungen von Mensch & Wirtschaft e.V.. (diplomats for international relations of people and economy). The INGO DMW‘s chairman Dr. Günther Meinel pronounced the welcoming words and held the greeting speech.
Croatia - Economic Conference in Zagreb
In the limelight of discussion were the problematic of the environmental situation, the economic aid and the development of the health care sector.
Mauritius
The conference on the theme of the air right that aimed at the development of tourism in Mauritius was exceedingly successful.
Poland
The conference with the Polish partners also included such topics as the support and development of the health care sector. Together with the Chief Minister’s consultant, very important topics were arranged and discussed upon.
