At the UN General Assembly on December 29, 2017 and April 25, 2018 in New York, DMW was represented by Vice President Prof. Serhat Akpinar. This took place in coordination with President Prof. Günther Meinel. The personal invitation was for the presentation of a contribution on peacekeeping.

President Günther Meinel was appointed as Professor on May 3, 2017, upon a proposal by the Council of Europe committee, by the American University. The merits of Günther Meinel in 30 years of International Relations and Diplomacy were recognized, but above all, his abilities in reconciling countries were acknowledged.

The international summit in Cyprus drew attention to the problems of this world and initiated solutions. Prof. Dr. Serhat Akpinar (left), as Vice President of DMW, spoke at the 72nd UN General Assembly about the human rights of Northern Cyprus. He is also the Rector of the renowned international American Girne University.

The DMW organization has grown so much in 25 years that it now has branches on all continents around the world. It has achieved a great deal in education, economic assistance, human rights, and research. This is welcomed in all countries. Further branches are also to be established in Arab countries.

To convey the programs of the United Nations education initiative, Dr. Günther Meinel and Dipl. Ing. Andreas Hard, representatives of "Diplomaten International", followed the invitation of the Technical Universities of Poland and participated in the Rectors' Conference in Gdynia.

The Youth Parliament project is promoted and supported by all social institutions alongside the German Bundestag. The President of the NGO Diplomaten International, which is accredited with consultative status at the United Nations, Prof. Günther Meinel, and the Chairman of the Youth Parliament Vitalyi Krusch have actively advanced the project.

With the nomination of the Chairman, Dr. Günther Meinel, and the organization Diplomaten International for the Mevlana Peace Prize, important peacekeeping projects were honored. These include the efforts for the reunification of Cyprus, the development of relations with Turkey and their economic support for growth, Turkey's relations with Russia and Poland, and above all the constant dialogues with Islam.

The organization Diplomaten International pursues the mandate of the United Nations for worldwide education initiatives. The education initiative of the United Nations aims to preserve and win peace, because better education provides all peoples with access to better living conditions. Knowledge is the currency and the natural resource on which countries assert themselves in the world market.

On May 14, 2014, a total of 130 countries participated in the World Congress of WAIPA (World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies) in Istanbul. The congress showed a clear shift in economic power relations.

The organization Diplomaten International Organization only appoints members with exceptional abilities. Experience in diplomacy is helpful and welcome. Thus, on November 25, 2014, Prof. Yunus Söylet, the Rector of the largest Turkish university, was also appointed as an honorary member.

Turkey annually awards "Stars" with the Great Prize of Turkey. This significant prize has already been received by heads of state and high-ranking meritorious personalities. The nomination is made by a jury. Reader surveys throughout Turkey then determine the award winners.
